Inspired by the unique work of the American artist Sol LeWitt, French composer Sébastien Roux, a 2015-2016 artist in residence at Villa Medici - French Academy in Rome, composed many electronic and acoustic translations of LeWitt’s wall drawings under the title `Inevitable Music`. On October 14, 2016 pieces from `Inevitable Music` were performed by Ensemble Dedalus in front of Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #343, one of the most emblematic artworks of the exhibition “Accrochage” (at Punta della Dogana until November 20, 2016).
